Successful negotiations between Yan Turov, Director of the for Economic Programs Foundation and Natalia Thieme, founder and Director of the German-Swiss company “Narucon” (www.narucon.de), an expert of the Russian Export Centre (https://russianexport.club/speaker/nataliya-time/?fbclid=IwAR1xQmR07Na56Ql9CgcorTHZO2DQdN7kpdRlvxCdxwY2WU4C44WJy7h4b-Y ) as well as the All-Russian Public Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises “Mainstay of Russia”, identified specific areas and projects for bilateral cooperation within the Year of Germany in Russia (2021-2022) in the Russian Arctic regions.
Yan Turov, head of the Economic Programs Foundation” having origin in Arkhangelsk region, operating as well as in Nenets autonomous area being part of it, as in all Arctic regions in Russia, has noted that numerous Russian outstanding personalities come from the Arkhangelsk region, such as Mikhail Lomonosov, the first Russian scientist-naturalist, writer, historian and artist, and also Kuzma Prutkov, a Russian fictional poet personality and a unique phenomenon not only for Russian but also for world literature, whose aphorisms are known to everyone in Russia.
NARUCON is planning to start various projects with the “Economic Programs Foundation” within the framework of the GERMAN-RUSSIAN THEME YEAR “Economy and Sustainable Development”.
Directions of cooperation include transport and logistics, wood processing, waste management, traditional livelihoods of Russia’s indigenous minorities and organic farming. In the near future, a joint work plan will be developed, which will proactively include joint activities in the Arkhangelsk region this year.
